A smart boom-type roadheader developed by China Railway Engineering Equipment Group Co., Ltd. under China Railway Hi-Tech Industry Co., Ltd. rolled off the assembly line on November 11. It marks that CREC’s CTR series boom-type roadheader goes intelligent.

With a unique information and data system, the smart boom-type roadheader is capable of collecting and processing data in an automatic manner including recording depletion automatically, self-evaluating operation performance, self-diagnosing breakdowns, warning potential dysfunctions, and digitalizing hydraulic systems.
